Best place in town to get your sushi grub on O and Robert is the best sushi chefs there is

we stopped in last night to take food home to eat but the environment was so cool and lively that we ended up staying to eat there. the staff was great and the owner is super friendly.

It was okay, for the price of about $21 I got California rolls and I believe it was the caterpillar roll. I didn't look or eat the sushi untill I got home 30 minutes later. The California rolls were okay, but I'm not even sure I got the caterpillar roll. Inside the meat was burned, it looks like salmon and I'm confused why it was cooked. I was charged almost $13 for these rolls and I threw them away. I will be attaching an image of the insides to this review.

Good sushi and a friendly staff

Yesterday was the start of something wonderful! My husband and I will definitely be back here. The food was so good and full of flavor. O and his entire team here make you feel like family. Friendly staff. Just an overall wonderful experience. Can't get enough of this place.

More than just your ordinary sushi place. Everything tastes fresh and can customize to.your liking if needed on any of the rolls. Customer service best in the city for sure

Loved the sushi boat and the chef was great! Such a family friendly place. There were two babies under two at the sushi bar! Nothing but welcoming smiles from the wait team and chef! The salmon was amazing and michi dessert was tempting

I walked in relatively late at night and ordered the ABQ Roll. The staff was very friendly, asked how my day had been, and had the food ready within 30 minutes! Not to mention, it was DELICIOUS!

They I ordered shrimp Chow mein and got ramen noodles and the whole dish smelled like bad fish when I opened it. The avocado roll was pretty decent but smelled like lemon floor cleaner

I love sushi, it’s such a shame the customer service sucks here. Also, don’t even bother trying to call for a to go order.Update: 3 months later and I feel same way.. the service sucks so bad.

O the owner is hands down the best in town ! Makes the best sushi in town welcomes you like family the place is always busy for a good reason because him and his team make great food well be coming back !

Live the spring rolls, served super fresh and hot

A new server, who said she had been working there a little more than a week, ruined our Mother's Day family dinner. First of all, she left us unattended more than 15 minutes after we were greeted by their sushi chefs. The table had stains, which I asked her to wipe. She made a big face with the excuse that there was a large party before us (!?). When she came back and tried to take drink orders, I said we knew what we want (Sushi Boat). She shushed me and took drink orders. She came back with drinks with their menu, on which you are supposed to mark what you want to order with an erasable pen. I said, "Sushi Boat, please." Then, she said, "Write that down!" What's her problem? I have never heard of the restaurant where the server tells what the customers should do. Of course, she got the amount of the tip she deserved.

I love Sushi King. The service is fast and friendly, and they have a wide variety of sushi rolls, with a few other good dishes for the friend you're bringing who doesn't really like sushi. Try the chef's special Schwifty roll, or the El Diablo (pictured with some green chili tempura) if you'd like something spicy.

Pleasant atmosphere, server very attentive and great selections. Recommended and will return.

Very nonchalant service. Orders take forever and no one seems to care how slow they’re being. As a delivery driver, this is very frustrating because time is money in my line of work.

The best sushi! Large portions and fresh. This is my Go to sushi place. Better than I have had anywhere else, even compared to east coast dining options.

Love this place! Come here all the time. Great sushi, takes call-in orders, nice and friendly staff. My favorite is the popcorn roll (ask for it - probably won't find it on the menu). It's a plate of California rolls topped with battered and fried lobster pieces and drizzled spicy mayo and sweet sauce. I get it every time.

First time going to this location, went to place a to go order. Starts off with Vince being very rude, not helpful and condescending. He reluctantly took my order and I went to sit and wait patiently at the front corner of the bar. Another new customer walks in and is unsure of what kind of roll she want. Vince, our favorite server running the register at the time, was rude and short with this girl, condescendingly rolling his eyes when she turned away. So, thank you Vince. I will not be returning to this location to feel belittled by impatient staff. Food was gross, warm, and disproportional. Take your business to enchanted hills location, it's worth the drive.

We made three orders of sushi and one of the orders where wrong they gave it us for free. but they should of got it right. But sense now management took over this place it's gone down hill it's a shame it was a great place before the take over by these new people

Fried shrimp ..soo good. And their rice is the best. Omm (manager) top notch.

One of my favorite spots to eat sushi. Always friendly staff and fresh sushi. Never a long wait and always something new on the menu.

Sushi was fresh, cooked food was hot and delicious, the drinks were cold and spot on. I have no complaints about this place!

Best sushi place in town. Sometimes a bit busy , but that should tell you that everyone wants it. It's worth the wait. The food is incredible! Cant stop coming back!

Their website clearly states they close at 10:30 on Saturday. I came here 45 minutes before they closed and they told me that they closed early because they were not busy. Even though i tried to do a take out order, but they never pick up their phone. I will never come to this restaurant ever again.

Order placed w/ sushi king during this pandemic & waited way over & hour from the original wait time , I wasn’t the only one waiting several people were waiting walking in & out of the restaurant while the manager & other employees were in the back popping open beers acting like it was a big party , asked several times about my order as the other customers did , no since or urgency from the manager , I finally had to get rude , this is unacceptable not only are they not practicing social distancing, they are breaking ATF laws .

If you want the best sushi experience you can get in the desert, visit this location of Sushi King and ask for O-San! I would follow this man anywhere he cooks. He has taken over this location and is serving up the best there is! And, my goodness! They have Ramen now too!

I'm no Guy Fieri but this ain't no flavor town

Food took ages and didn't seem fresh; felt like leftovers. Worst of all, the spicy tuna hand roll was spoiled, and I had to send it back.Not the 1st bad experience I've had here. Won't go back.

Great sushi place for the price

Everything was great! I've eaten Japanese curry countless times but this was the first time trying it at Sushi King. It was very good! My wife loves the ABQ sushi roll. Try the mochi ice cream, it's not traditional ice cream but it is good! Excellent service and a clean restaurant.

I have been to two locations of Sushi King and have not been disappointed. Staff is always pleasant and sushi is fresh. This particular location off of Unser Blvd is a great date location to it being right next door to Cold Stone....cant go wrong with this combo!

Is it me or does anyone else have trouble just trying to call the damn place. They never seen to pick up the phone and Ive looked around the web to find maybe a different number that might be it but it's all the same one they can't pick up. If some on finds a working number or maybe if someone can pay their phone bill, leave a number in the comments.

The vegetable tempura was okay. Some of it was really crunchy and slightly raw so it could have gone for longer being fried. I also got the curry. While it's not what I typically enjoy from a curry since I tend to prefer Thai style, it was really flavorful and I liked it. I would definitely get the curry again and would recommend it to others, but maybe ask for more rice.
